Meet Our Team

Nikolas Kokal, BVMS - Owner/Veterinarian

Kristina Hewitt, BVMS - Owner/Veterinarian

Dr. Kokal and Dr. Hewitt both graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2016. They are passionate about providing high-quality, personalized veterinary care to the pets of Nashua and surrounding areas. As the owners of Nashua Pet Care Clinic, they are deeply committed to maintaining a family-owned and operated clinic that prioritizes both the well-being of pets and the peace of mind of their owners.

Dr. Hewitt brings a wealth of expertise in cardiology, ultrasound, internal medicine, and advanced surgery. She completed her internship training at Piper-Olsen Memorial Hospital, where she honed her skills in surgery, internal medicine, and emergency/critical care, further solidifying her dedication to advanced care.

Dr. Kokal has a strong interest in general practice, wellness care, dentistry and general surgery. He loves helping pets thrive at every stage of life, his compassionate approach to wellness emphasizes keeping pets healthy and happy for years to come. Dr. Kokal has also proudly served as a Captain in the United States Air Force for the Massachusetts Air National Guard.

Together, Dr. Kokal and Dr. Hewitt are dedicated to offering the high-quality veterinary care at a fair price, in contrast to the growing trend of corporate-owned clinics that can lead to increased costs and a more impersonal experience. They are proud to run a privately owned practice where quality is prioritized over profits.

When they’re not at the clinic, Dr. Kokal and Dr. Hewitt are the busy parents of their three young boys. As a family, they enjoy spending time on their family farm and are excited to be part of the Nashua community.

Kathleen Clancy, DVM - Veterinarian

Dr. Clancy is a 2019 graduate of Ross University of School of Veterinary Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in Livestock Science and Management from Delaware Valley University in 2014. After finishing her clinical rotations at Purdue University, Dr. Clancy returned home to New England where she began working with Dr. Shank and Dr. Nik. Dr. Clancy is a proud FFA alumni, and while her primary focus has shifted to feline patients, she has a passion for chickens, ducks, and geese. In her downtime, Dr. Clancy is often knitting, gaming, fishing, and playing D&D with her friends. She enjoys the company of her three cats: Steven, Lady Delilah Briarwood, and Archfey Artagan.
